- What should my daughter wear to gymnastics?
- Your daughter is strongly encouraged to wear a leotard, socks are allowed but often taken off.
- If your daughter has long hair, it needs to be tied up.
- If your daughter has pierced ears, studs are permitted.
- What should my son wear to gymnastics?
- Your son should wear a t-shirt and shorts, socks are allowed but often taken off.
- Should I send food or drinks with my child?
- No food, gum, or drinks are allowed in the gym except for water.
- What do I do while my child is at gymnastics?
- Friends and family are able to watch the student from the viewing area.
- If you have errands or other activities to do you can leave your child at the gym.
- Your child needs to be promptly picked up when the class is over.
- Only the parent or guardian is allowed to pickup your child unless the office has been notified.
- How do I find out if you are closed for the weather?
- Hawkeye Gymnastics will be open regardless of the weather. If you can make it we will be there.
- What do I do if I miss a class?
- Make-ups are offered once a month if you are unable to make a normally scheduled class. Check with the office to find out when the next make-up is being offered.
- How do I know what class to put my child in?
- We offer one free class to check us out. In this class we evaluated the student skill level for placement into the proper class.
- The second to last week of each session a skill card will be sent home with the student. This evaluation of skills will let you know if your child is ready for the next level.
- How do payments work?
- Payments can be made online through our online registration or in person. Full payment of the class is due on the first day of the class.
- What if I start in the middle of a session?
- The payment will be prorated for the number of classes left in the session.
- How do sessions work?
- By registering for a session you are committed to bring your child for only that session. No additional paperwork is needed if you choose not to register for another session.
